3D modeler Justin Buonvino built some incredible 3D screen shots of our favorite 8-bit NES games. He didn't take the easy way out either, according to Justin, he builds each pixel as an individual block and then stacks them. Way more time consuming than if he were to just build each figure as one complete model. I know he's trying to remain true to the 8-bit 2D scenes by not going nuts with the shadows, but in some of the models, its hard to make out characters from the background because of all the textures. Some shadows would make the characters pop. He's noted that when financially viable, he has plans to build the scenes using Legos.
