Accumulated quite a few links covering 'persons' this past week. Of the three I'm linking to below, I kind of admire them in one way or another.

Michael Shvo, man do people hate this guy. He came to the US in 1996 from Israel with barely anything and now he lives like a king. He works like a dog too, and is pretty ruthless in a bad way. After reading the article I wanted to go work for him... I don't know doing what, but if he wants me to bust my ass I'm up for it. (not literally you bastards).

Linda Kaplan Thaler, much more well known than the previous person I wrote about. I don't know when I happened to read about her previously, but the name was strangely familiar. Anyway, she's a creative type. She came up with the original Toys'R'Us jingle, and her agency was also the one behind the Aflac campaign.

Corey, the Starbucks homeless nerd, okay this guy, props to him for pulling it off. But other than that, I'm unsure why he ever came out here, to find ladies? Please. PCTM. Dumbass.

Woah, what's with all the sniping going on recently? 17 members of Saatchi & Saatchi left a month or so ago to join Interpublic Group. Now Ellerbe Becket is bleeding architects.
