Fans of British wit take note!
I recently came across Jeremy Clarkson's column in the Times (United Kingdom version). Stupid me, never thought to look online for his column. Anyway, for your reading pleasure click on the link, and if that doesn't satisfy you, grab this Word Document with an archive of his previous columns.

Top Gear has also rerecorded certain aspects of the show to 'appeal' to Americans. The Discovery Channel will be airing them in the near future but the date has yet to be determined. I think it's a mistake for them to tailor the show for Americans. Part of the reason I love the show is for their wit/humor and put downs of American tastes.

ohh yeah... its definitley a mistake to tailor the show to american audiences. Hopefully it wont end up like the shitty shows we have here in the states.
