Perfect form tackling...
What a fantastic day. Didn't even need a jacket out! If the next few days are going to be like this, my winter season will be all but a distant memory. What fine memories though... anyway, had ojingoh chigae for breakfast today, took a later bus that usual which was a bit more lively (much chattering going on). For this morning's Jamba Juice, I decided to try yet another flavor. This time it was the turbo tropic. Perhaps I chose a favorite too hastily as the Turbo Tropic tastes similar to the Mango a Go-Go, but has a better after taste. Onto the night before...

It's been a few days since I last dreamnt. A funky one it was, I can't seem to pinpoint the basis for the dream but it went something like this...

Walking along a path in Central Park with some brothers, I was in the back trailing the group taking in the sights. Everyone else was busy having fun, joking around and just absorbed in conversation. While walking uphill, I happened to glance across an open field and caught a mugging taking place. The funny thing was that it was an old crafty Asian lady doing the mugging. Reminded me of a smaller and skinnier Rose "Gran'ma" Ben from the Bone series. She ran by grabbed a purse and booked. So I ran across the field at an angle trying to intercept her.

Ever watch the Animal Planet? I forget which cat does this, but when they hunt as a pack, each cat stations itself at intervals on a proposed path. The first cat initiates the chase and steers its prey towards this set path. By the time the first cat tires, the next cat at the following station picks up the chase from there and so on. Much like a relay, quite crafty huh? Anyway, running across the field at an angle, I kind of felt like one of these cats, except there was no second station to pick up the slack.

Anyway, I digress, for an old lady this perp was exceptionally fast. At a fork in the road she chose the low road and I went for the high road. Running alongside her on top of a granite topped brick wall I managed to close the gap and eventually jumped down and tackled her to the ground. Yessiree it was a fine form tackle even Gerdy would approve of. I ran perpendicularly into her, head across the numbers and accelerated through her when I was about to make contact. Lifting the tackling dummy? Check. Driving the legs? Check. Shoulder into tackling dummy's body when landing into the ground? Check. How she didn't break every bone in her body I do not know.

I proceeded to walk her back to her victim, handed the victim her purse and then walked her down to the local police station. At this point of the dream, things sort of evolve. Apparently I was a non-uniformed police officer all along. At the station which I think would be how Potter's Ministry of Magic resembles, it was a gloomy drab place. Very blue, with sunlight filtering in through the thin vertical windows by the left stone wall. My chief, who is played by SASI's CIO, Christian, stops me in the hallway with a bunch of reporters and people surrounding him. He smiles and laughs about the crime I just stopped and tosses me a thank you letter from the victim. In all the media hoopla, my suspect somehow manages to escape.

Panicking and pissed that I lost my suspect, I run around the station which sports some high end cafe in the basement/ground level. Eventually I returned to my starting point which was this hall in the station. Pacing around, I was muttering out load as to where she could have gone. With a loud crash, the door to a nearby room sprung open and out poured a bunch of CMU people, amongst them, the old lady...

From there on out, I don't remember much. I must have been waking up as the dream never fully finished. I've left some minor details out, but who here can interpret dreams? Anyone?
