came early this year that's right.
Through the Internet.

There was an exchange,
between my idol and I.
The artist Jim Lee.

Graced by his presence.
An offhand comment was made.
He said don't worry.

What a true artist!
Accepting criticism,
along with the praise.

To think I started,
by tracing over his lines,
many years ago.

A simple gesture,
by a truly great person.
His posts were special.

Another reason,
why after so many years.
He's still the man.

As many have said,
the best things in life are free.
This time I agree.
