I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death. Thomas Paine

Walking from CFA to the UC today, I had the pleasure of observing two kids all bundled up sledding down the hill by the tennis courts. Remember living in the ghettos of Brooklyn (well not that ghetto) we weren't privileged enough to have sleds, but my neighbor, she took my little brother and I to the park out back one day, got a piece of cardboard, placed it in a garbage bag and we went sledding. Good times for all.

So... the New Year was a disappointment. Began with a blast, had an awesome trip to Cali, my first trip over to the West Coast. Thanks to all the brothers who made us East Coast brothers feel welcomed. So... then on with the stress that comes with rush and the start of the new semester... only to have news of another fallen brother put a damper on our festivities. Alam... never had the chance to meet you but we'll be seeing you on the other side. IEB.

Chinese New Year is coming up, I believe it is the year 4701? Year of the Black Sheep I hear. I hope it brings in some memorable times (positive ones). Sun Neen Fai Lok. (Rayzor, you happy now? I updated...)
