Brotherhood is dependant on a vast number of conditions. A man's self-concept partially incluences his ability to experience fraternalism. When we have a strong self-concept, we are more likely to accept others and open ourselves up to others as individuals; we are less likely to accept others and open ourselves up to others as individuals; we are less likely to stereotype our neighbor. On the other hand, if we have a weak self-concept, we shall be more likely to reject others, to wall ourselves off from our fellowman, and to stereotype our neighbor.
